The Knights of Columbus Citizenship Award was awarded this year to David Drogos of St. Thomas More Catholic School. David Drogos is the grandson of Sir Knight Gene Drogos.
The award is presented each year to the eighth grade graduating student who best demonstrates outstanding citizenship at school.

The new Assembly officers for 2013-14 will be installed on July 24th at the Durham University Club. District Master David O’nofrio will attend and install new officers.
We’ll gather at 6 p.m. for a social hour and dine at about 7 p.m. The installation will take place following dinner.
Msgr. William O’Brien Assembly 3365 (Durham) will join us for a joint installation.
Attire is social regalia for members of the Fourth Degree and jacket and tie for guests.

The Reverend Monsignor John F. (Tim) O’Connor, Pastor of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish in Raleigh, died just before midnight last night at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. The funeral arrangements for Monsignor O’Connor will be conveyed to you upon completion. Kindly include among your intentions today, prayers for the repose of the soul of Monsignor O’Connor, as well as a remembrance of his mother, Mrs. Jean O’Connor, his three brothers, family members and all those who mourn his death.
Monsignor O’Connor served as a pastor of St. Thomas More Chuirch for several years.
